SchemeCheck is a proprietary technology platform founded and operated by SchemeCheck IT Solutions, based in Bangalore, India. We help Indian citizens discover the benefits — government schemes, private and CSR programs, and government and private scholarships — they are eligible for via WhatsApp. Our office is located at Nallurahalli Main Road, Siddapura, Whitefield, Bangalore — 560066, Karnataka, India.

2. Information We Collect

When you use SchemeCheck, we may collect the following information to match you with eligible benefits: your age, gender, state, district, occupation, caste category, economic status (BPL/APL), family size, and — for scholarships — education level, current course, marks, and institution type. This information is provided by you via chat conversation text.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to match you with eligible schemes and scholarships (government and private) and help you apply. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties. We may share anonymised, aggregated data (which cannot identify any individual) for research and policy analysis purposes.

4. ID Card and Document Handling

If you share a photo of your ration card or voter ID, we extract only the necessary demographic information (age, gender, address). All ID card images are permanently deleted from our servers within 60 seconds of processing.

5. Data Security

All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption and in transit using TLS 1.3. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, or destruction.

6. Data Retention

We retain your profile data for as long as you use SchemeCheck, so we can notify you of new schemes and scholarships you may be eligible for. You can request deletion of your data at any time by sending "Delete my data" on WhatsApp.

7. Your Rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) 2023, you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. You may exercise these rights by contacting us at schemecheck.support@schemecheck.com.

8. Third-Party Services

We use WhatsApp Business API (Meta Platforms) for messaging and optical character recognition services for processing ID card images. These services process data according to their respective privacy policies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be communicated via our WhatsApp channel and updated on this page.
